Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Handyperson to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing portfolio of commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials.

Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.

Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and hardware.

Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Collaborate with other construction professionals and trades to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

Relevant Trade Qualification / experience – Building maintenance type skills though minimum 5 years’ experience

Proven experience as a Handyperson  in commercial construction.

Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered tools, hand tools etc)

Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
