Job Summary:
The Senior Benefits Administrator shared service is responsible for operational tasks associated with health and welfare plans in compliance with plan provisions. The Administrator assists in maintaining direct billing, Dependent verification, premium billing to clients and carriers testing system functionality, reviewing third party interface along with other ongoing activities. The Administrator will be expected to learn the Health and Welfare domain while gaining work experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage Medium to complex data processing activities assigned to you Quality data collation and validation to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data Research on participant records, process payroll, qualifications and payments Coordinate with fulfillment for letters, documentations, statements and confirmation mails Provide support for special projects and other tasks as needed Accurately bills time to ensure client’s billings are correct Verify Premium billing for the clients and ensure payments to carriers are made accurately and in timely manner Ensures all work product is processed according to Milliman’s peer review guidelines Review third party interface activities accurately Mentor and coordinate peers in their day-to-day activities Performs system testing as assigned Work on various applications to process participants request within service level standards Ensures quality service to existing clients Ensure process SOPs are updated and match requirements Identify process improvement ideasRequired Skills & Attributes:
Experience in DBP, Premium Verification/Financial Management would be preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office or related softwareRequired Qualifications:
5+ years of experience into Health and Welfare administration Bachelor’s degree in any disciplinePreferred Skills and Qualifications:
