GROUP VICE PRESIDENT – LOCAL


As Group Vice President - Local Sales, you will lead and motivate a large geographically dispersed sales team with approximately 700 plus sellers, responsible for driving and exceeding sales results across 150 + offices. In particular, we are seeking an individual who drive and expand CTV, Advanced and Programmatic adoption and expertise further into the local sales organization.

Serve as a key member of the sales leadership team and as a trusted business advisor and partner to the Chief Revenue Officer and SVP of Spectrum Reach Sales, partnering with leadership to lead the development of annual sales plans and budgets, forecasts, and long-range projections to grow the Local sales team.Collaborate with other GVPs on talent planning, strategy alignment, organizational design, and go to market opportunities across all lines of business.Provide overall leadership of Local Sales, while monitoring progress to budget, and adjusting frequently to changing market trends.Represent Spectrum Reach through consistent PR, social media, trade events, and internal communications on industry panels and large conferences.Integrate XUMO, O&O, and 3rd party inventory into the fabric of the local sales team.Invest in the long-term development of current and emerging leaders through mentoring, coaching, and continuous feedback.May periodically meet with very large key clients to help manage relationships if and when a senior executive presence is required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDACY

15+ years in related media management and/or advertising sales experience, with a proven successful track record of meeting and exceeding goals.10+ years of Sales leadership experience.Managed large, geographically distributed sales organization with a track record of success.Deep knowledge of Advanced Advertising (Digital, Programmatic, Addressable, etc.).Proven ability to work cross functionally and establish and maintain internal relationships.Strong market reputation in the Local Ad sales communityDemonstrated experience transforming sales teams to not only sell, but excel, at selling advanced, data driven products.Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills. Critical thinking, problem solving, and superior customer focus.Strong strategic, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, presentation and time-management skills and ability to execute initiatives within the team and company as well as customers.Strong influencer with experience working with across departments to achieve goals.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Advanced degree, such as an MBA, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

The base pay for this position generally is between $251,300.00 and $607,600.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
