Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Casual Guest Service Agent at Oaks Hervey Bay Resort and Spa. This is an excellent opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as we enter our busiest time of year, with potential for a permanent part time position in 2025. 

The moment a guest steps into our hotel you will make them feel at home with your welcoming and warm presence. You have the important job of guiding guests through their stay, from smooth check-ins and check-outs to insights on the local attractions and eateries, you will be remembered for your superb customer service and positive energy. 

Key Responsibilities Include:

Welcome and check in guestsCommunicate professionallyMake bookingsAssist guests during their stayProviding guests with refreshments, including making tea and coffeeEssential: Flexibility to work across all shifts including weekends, shift work, public holidays and school holidays. Weekend work is highly favourable.

QualificationsPrevious hotel experience in a front office team would be highly regardedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitudeThe ability to successfully provide a high level of customer satisfactionProfessional presentation essentialCandidates must be available to work all shifts from 6.30am -9.00pm on a rotating roster (including weekends, shift work, school holidays and public holidays)
