Project and Team Overview:
The PMO team is responsible for GTM innovation across 16 cross functional teams and over 6000-line items that form Samsung’s GTM strategy for our mobile products (phones, tablets, PC’s, wearables, and more). The candidate stepping into this role will have the opportunity to update a portion of Samsung’s go-to-market playbook and impact the strategy developed and executed by 16 cross functional teams. This will be a tangible piece of work that the candidate will see come to life in the 2026 timeframe.
About the project:
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing Samsung’s digital consumer journey across owner and partner: social, search (organic and paid), .com, and CRM. Based on the results of their findings they will develop a recommendation of the things that we are doing well, what we need to improve, and most importantly things that we are not doing that we should be from a Gen Z/millennial perspective in order to grow mindshare and market share with this demographic (from consideration to conversion). In partnership with product, marketing, and retail (digital) this candidate will then provide a recommendation to the update of the GTM framework and project plan followed by Samsung teams to ensure inclusivity of tactics that speak to this audience and result in a significant change in the way we go to market digitally as a company. The candidate will be responsible for leading our Q3 Millennial/Gen Z Innovation Workshop. The ideal candidate will take the project from ideation to sell-in to teams.
Skills and Qualifications
Required skills and Qualifications:
Academic Major Preferred (Undergrad and Masters) or Business Management, Marketing, User Experience, or Computer Science/Information Technology Management
Data analytics experience, and ability to work with Excel to explore and analyze data
Proficiency creating reports and presentations in PowerPoint
Comfortable leading a discussion with a group of people
Ability to create reports and presentations in PowerPoint
Comfortable thinking out of the box and developing new ideas
Systems thinking able to synthesize disparate ideas into conclusions
Ability to convert data into insights
Presentation skills and ability to tell a story with data
