The Johnson & Johnson Global Trade Controls (GTC) function, part of Johnson & Johnson’s Technical Operations and Risk organization, is recruiting for a Global Trade Controls, EMEA Senior Analyst, located in Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland or Switzerland, preferably near an EMEA J&J site. In GTC, we provide centralized cross-functional governance and advisory support to Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, across all segments - Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical (including Clinical Trials and R&D) and Vision Products. As GTC EMEA Senior Analyst, you will support the execution of key GTC initiatives, and provide guidance to business partners on Trade Controls processes and procedures that adhere to Customs laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities: + Act as a key participant in GTC projects, delivering on objectives and deploying solutions + Support execution of compliant trade flows and advise on customs related topics, such as new trade flow set ups, etc. + Ensure compliance with import and export laws and regulations across the EMEA region, confirming trade controls activities are in line with company policies and procedures + Support and maintain GTC documentation and processes, including regional deployment of same + Act as point of contact in the EMEA GTC team’s interaction with both the Global Trade Segment teams as well as the Regional Trade Operations Team and/or local Direct Responsible Individuals (DRI’s) **Qualifications** Education: Bachelor or masters degree or the equivalent in experience (Supply Chain, Transport & Distribution, Logistics, International Studies, Legal, Economics, Financial) Experience and Skills: Required: + Experience with, or strong interest in, the functional area of Customs or Trade Compliance, with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience + Solution oriented, demonstrating problem solving skills, an innovative approach and a can-do attitude + Good interpersonal skills. Ability to partner with and influence others without direct authority; build consensus and look for collaboration with people from different organizations + Good communication skills, process oriented and strong analytical skills + Ability to work in dynamic, fast‐ paced environment with multiple priorities Preferred: + Experience and/or training in the following areas of competence: HTS code determination, Customs valuation principles, rules of origin, free trade agreements, incoterms, export control classification, AEO in EMEA Other: Fluent in English.
