**Job Title: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Service Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated service technician responsible for scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repair of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) servicing the airline industry clients. The role involves working at Lambert airport, including locations such as the main shop, the shops of our primary customers, or on the airfield. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment. + Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company-owned equipment. + Diagnose and repair engine mechanical issues (Diesel, Gas, and LP). + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics. + Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems. + Complete vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards. + Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined with strong mechanical repair skills. + Experience in automotive mechanics and mechanical aptitude. + Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel, hydraulics, heavy equipment, and engine issues. + Experience with ground support equipment, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. + Must have 2 or more years of related experience. + Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies. + Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge from STL airport. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in the military with Ground Support Equipment preferred. + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification/diploma preferred. + Must have their own tools. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a quality working environment with the opportunity to grow your skill set by working on new equipment and handling individual projects. **Work Environment** Work in a non-climate controlled warehouse. Open roles are on the first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the potential for overtime.
