GSA Real Estate Specialist The Mission: D&G is seeking a highly motivated and talented Real Estate Specialist with leasing, real property, and/or facilities related experience. This position is part of a dynamic, multifunctional team supporting the Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Property, Acquisitions and Safety Division (PASD). The ideal candidate will have experience supporting or working with the General Services Administration (GSA) or other Federal Agencies in the responsibilities areas noted below. Overall Responsibilities: + Acquiring real property assets through the General Services Administration (GSA), U.S. Department of State and/or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. + Developing requirements for real property acquisitions, project charters to initiate leasing actions and projects. + Working with real property terminology such as market rent variances, building types, feasibility studies, etc. + Analyzing documents and other forms of realty correspondence(i.e. lease documents, design intent drawings (DIDs), construction drawings (CDs), furniture layouts and floor plans) + Working knowledge of Sunflower for data input and analysis. Ideal Candidate: + Experience: Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in realty management. + Experience working with GSA Leasing. + Degree: Bachelor's degree (Associates Degree with additional 3 years’ experience is fine) + Realty project management experience with at least one year with Federal government leasing/construction projects.
