Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are seeking a collaborative, entrepreneurial, flexible team member who be part of our team working to broaden our existing footprint and expand into new areas of Government service. You should be growth-minded with a desire to make a mark on the work we do with our government customers. The major elements of your role include the following:

Growth Operations: You should come to the table with an ownership mindset and an eye toward supporting the leadership team with data that enables informed data-driven decision making. You will support pipeline growth and management, budget management and additional operational support for the Growth team.  You will support the ServiceNow Opportunity tracking system and the reporting and integration between the finance and growth teams. Relevant platforms include:  ServiceNow, Unanet and SharePoint.  

IDIQ Portfolio Support: In this capacity, you will serve as our “first line of defense” for opportunities released on our existing Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWAC) vehicles. You will work closely with the Business Development and Capture Managers to align on the strategy for future IDIQ and GWAC opportunities, participate in industry events, research vehicle trends, and support teaming decisions based on outreach and evaluation of information.

You will report directly to the Vice President of Proposals and Growth Operations and interact regularly with other leaders and members of the Growth organization. You are a key to the success of the organization, and you should come prepared to contribute to individual efforts and the team projects in a meaningful way.

 

Responsibilities:

Growth Operations

Administer, manage and oversee the ServiceNow Business Development and Contract Management applicationsProvide pipeline decision support on a periodical and ad hoc basis as neededTrain Growth Team colleagues on how best to use ServiceNow Opportunity trackingAct as the SME for creating, changing and updating the database configuration including data content, process automations and generated reports; administer all database user accountsCreate custom searches and reporting for executive leadership requestsSupport interface with finance applications for tasks such as purchase requisitions, invoicing, and budget management

IDIQ Portfolio Support

Responsible for business development, customer relationship management, stakeholder engagement and education, reporting, opportunity distribution, and issue resolutionDevelop, refine, and continually improve relevant processes and tools for internal and external distribution of qualified task ordersIdentify and qualify new business opportunities and support pipeline developmentMonitor procurement portals and ensure timely and efficacious task order distribution Provide support for bid/no-bid recommendations on opportunitiesDevelop and disseminate reporting on relevant metricsContribute Market, Competitive, and Contract Compliance analyses to capture efforts and proposal responsesEducate internal business leads and stakeholders regarding contract scope, features, and benefits in support of acquisition strategiesCoordinate long-term pursuit and teaming strategies for Empower AI’s GWAC/IDIQ portfolioSupport GWAC/IDIQ-relevant initiatives from Business Development, Capture Management, Proposals, Marketing, Senior Leadership, and Business Units Qualifications

Requirements:

Expertise in ServiceNow – including the ability to configure the current application using the development and production environmentsExpertise using SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting and trackingExperience with Government procurement and acquisition sites and servicesExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsPassion and energy to delivery high quality resultsAbility to solve problems independently and with good judgementEntrepreneurial mindset to drive resultsStrong interpersonal, stakeholder management and relationship-building skillsAbility to negotiate with variety of teams to “get to yes”Ability to work in a hybrid environment (2-3 days/week in-person)

Education and Experience:

3-5 years of relevant experience with a growth or BD team Knowledge and understanding of Government procurement and business development practicesBasic understanding of Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR/DFARs)Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
