Group & Wholesale Agent
SUMMARY: The Groups and Wholesale agent is the liaison between the Sales, Convention Services, group coordinators and the hotel inventory system. Their primary goal is to receive, review, process, and accommodate all group business as well as wholesale, extranet, and third party business.  This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).   
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Receives, reviews, and builds all group bookings in LMS & SharePoint systems• Adjust group blocks according to requests and information from Sales and Convection Services teams in conjunction with requests and directives from the Groups and Wholesale Management team• Review and process all reservation and group modifications, additions, cancellations, and/or revisions per the request and applicable department and hotel policy, procedure, and guidelines.• Process group rooming listings in their various formats, at department standards, in the LMS system• Review, compare, and improve group notations, reservations, master accounts, and/or other group related items per group resumes published by the Convention Services and Sales teams • Develop and update group folders per the filing system guidelines for all definite group bookings• Articulately reject any and all requests that would break hotel policy, procedure, and/or guidelines via written communication• Post charges to reservations and group master accounts, as needed • Inspect all arriving groups for appropriate notations and build information, as listed• Verify and compare group build information to received communications• Verify and post group buffet, baggage, ancillary, and special charges• Review applied billing profiles, reservation rates, stay dates, and other billing information• Review all communicated VIPs and notate as needed• Review and complete any pending requests for group• Prepare and check in all group check in, motor coach, entertainment, small groups service, and specialty group check ins to the highest standards, as listed• Block group arrival reservations per department guidelines• Develop personalized key packets for group arrival reservations• Develop all required check in reports and required documents• Block charging for all non-deposit holding reservations, unless otherwise directed• Reach out to and communicate with tour leaders on arrival times• Relocate to the Front Desk and/or Carson Tower Air Door for group check ins• Communicate all group baggage requests and/or wake up requests via SharePoint• Compile reports for Room Reservations, Groups and Wholesale Management, and other departments as directed• Process wholesale, extranet, and third party company requests, reservations, modifications, cancellations, as needed.• Communicate and resolve guest situations in conjunction with third party companies • Receive and answer questions in regards to Groups, wholesale, extranet, and third party companies as they are communicated from throughout and outside the company• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Room Reservations and Groups and Wholesale Management teams• Perform duties of Room Reservations / Front Desk Clerk when required• Ability to meet or exceed department customer service standards• Demonstrate good sales techniques when dealing with possible sales situations  
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Excellent analytical, problem solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization and prioritization skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate• Ability to work efficiently, independently and cohesively, consistently producing quality results• Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required; Spa Soft experience preferred.    
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  • High School Diploma or GED• 4 years’ experience within a related field• Minimum age requirement is 21
• Must be able to successfully register with the NV Gaming Control Board.
