We have Software teams embedded across Technology including in IoT, Unified Communications, Public Cloud Services, and internal systems. Whichever of our world-class teams you join as an apprentice, you’ll help us realise our vision of the digital future.   

 

What you’ll do

 

Gain knowledge in Systems Development, Solution Architecture, Designing & Developing Products for the Internet of Things, Planning & Implementing Dev Ops, and more. Work with production Software Engineering teams, evolving our internal and customer facing systems with real responsibility from day one. Create new code across the whole software development lifecycle and design software components and write and deploy software to our production systems with your team.  Build collaborative relationships with different teams working on fast paced projects within the business.  

 

Who you are

 

Keen to explore the world of software engineering with a real passion for all things tech. Have already had a go at coding and are familiar with essential programming concepts which you can showcase at assessment time. Possess a critical thinking mindset when analysing requirements and ability to spot pattens. Able to communicate effectively and enjoys working as an individual and as part of a large team when applying problem-solving.  Willingness to adapt and learn in a rapidly changing tech landscape keeping up with the new technologies.

Eligibility to Apply  
 

Age: There is no upper limit, but you must be at least 18 years old on or before 15 September 2025. 

Qualifications: GCSEs in English & Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent qualifications and 3 A Levels including ICT or Maths gained by August 2025 or equivalent qualifications*. 

Residence: To have the right to work in the UK and to have lived in the UK and/or EU for three years or more. 

Disqualifiers: You must not currently be enrolled into full time education, and you must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level in a similar subject (e.g. a degree or masters in a similar subject).
