Group Reporting Manager集团报告经理, HSBC Life Insurance

This role will plan, direct and control group reporting related tasks, reconciliation, and Risk Compliance areas within Finance and other ad-hoc projects and tasks.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

Ÿ Act as group reporting manager to ensure the finance Delivery work streams/work packages are appropriately and efficiently planned, mobilized and governed, solutions are analyzed, defined, scoped and adequately cost and budgeted, and that ultimately the project is delivered to time, budget and scope so that HSBC will be compliant with the new IFRS Standard from the effective date.

Ÿ Work with other business leads to ensure that HSBC is adequately prepared to respond to the group reporting under IFRS 17.

Ÿ Successfully define, deliver and embed with changes, helping Finance function achieve its strategic goals.

Ÿ Manage the change implementations activites such as training, communication and stakeholder engagement.

Ÿ Capture, analyse and document the business process as well as tracking status of project deliverables and milestones.

Ÿ Ensure data and business requirements related to Finance are captured, utilized and fully tested.

Ÿ Collaborate with Finance teams and IT to oversee the execution of testing, including problem solving and data analysis.

Ÿ Support Finance projects, such as new product launch, new system deployment, new branch setup, and other ad-hoc projects.

Ÿ Set-up and maintain a robust financial monitoring control mechanism over process and ensure all general ledger balance sheets accounts are properly reconciled and substantiated.

Ÿ Support Finance training program, talent development, cultural changes, and maintain a healthy working environment within Finance.

Ÿ Other Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Line Manager.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Ÿ Bachelor‘s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Aduit areas.

Ÿ CICPA qualification or equivalent is preferred.

Ÿ 8 insurance experience, especially in finance operation, control, audit is preferred.

Ÿ Familiar with China GAAP and IFRS GAAP.

Ÿ Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and spoken).

Ÿ Ability to manage multiple priorities and effective problem solver.

Ÿ Computer literacy: Microsoft word, excel, etc.

Ÿ Strong team leadership and people skills.

Ÿ Self motivated and able to work under pressure.
