Group Product Manager, Public Charging

We need to eliminate barriers to purchasing an EV and boost EV usage compared to expectations. Ford has launched the first generation of EVs and we are hard at work developing the next generation. This role is critical in improving the experience for existing customers and delivering a step change for the next generation. **What you'll do...** The scope of this role is to focus on Public Charging. The goal of public charging is to make charging your vehicle as easy as charging your mobile devices. To deliver outcomes for our customers, the Group Product Manager of Public Charging will need to: + Discover what customers need and their pain points and how should these needs be met + Define and own the digital experience for the Blue Oval Charge Network (BOCN) + Determine how Ford can differentiate and best serve our customers + Develop step change improvements in experiences for the next generation of electric vehicle programs + Conceptualize, Define, and Prioritize Products  + Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap + Set and drive the product roadmap to bring your vision to life, working with our partners in design and engineering + Define and author Product Requirement Documents, PRFAQs, and Strategy Papers Systematic approach to managing and prioritizing work, including balancing the backlog and new products, evaluating choices based on Reach, Impact, Confidence, and Effort.  + Balance tactical short-term needs with strategic direction and priorities.  + Partner throughout the organization to get the right work delivered  + Partner with the Model e business teams to deliver on the public charging business strategy  + Partner with Design and Tech Strategy to inform new vehicle and tech product plans with upcoming product experiences and services strategy.  + Test Features and Products  + Own product prototyping to tell the story of the products you are building.  + Define success for your products and instrument the product to learn directly from use.  Partner with Engineering and the Global Data, Insights, and Analytics Team to deliver product instrumentation and dashboards. + Develop and implement a feedback cycle that delivers consistent improvements  + Conduct customer research to inform product plans.  + Consolidate internal knowledge on the customer and prior products.  + Report status to and manage concerns from executive Ford stakeholders.  + Manage and develop a high performing team of Product Managers to execute the above **You'll have...** + 7+ years as a product manager, having shipped successful products in the past, ideally in the Electrification Digital Product space + 3+ years of management experience, with meaningful people-management experience of product managers + Track record of solving tough problems and delivering working solutions throughout career + Demonstrated effectiveness in large, complex, highly matrixed organizations + Passion for serving customers + Bachelor’s degree **Even better, you may have...** + Experience building and using Electrification digital products + Experience delivering digital products that integrate vehicle, cloud, and mobile app + Experience working with data and products which leverage data + Academic and/or work background in engineering, computer science, or hard sciences You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
