Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a forward-looking and experienced leader for our Automation & Control Group in the PAMP Department. This role involves leading multiple teams specializing in Automation & Control Software (SW) development delivery to Marine & Ports Division.The work model for the role is: on-site.This role is contributing to the Marine and Ports in Ostrava.You will be mainly accountable for:• Strategic Leadership: Actively collaborate with Business Engagement Manager and other EUOPC Group/Department managers to prepare and implement PAMP Department strategy for Marine and Ports Division. Ensure that the teams provide high-value services to the PAMP division, enhancing productivity. Establish your group as a center of competence and innovation for your segment within EUOPC.• People: Build engaged and productive teams with an appetite for continuous improvements. Foster strong relationship within the PAMP division on all levels, accelerating people development. Enhance your team visibility and reputation within the PAMP division.• Operations: Efficiently deliver the group project portfolio to achieve high customer and ABB partner satisfaction. Implement and continuously improve relevant processes. Manage your group's budget and costs. Ensure a safe working environment for your teams.• Collaboration and Coordination: Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with internal teams to align strategies and daily operations to deliver exceptional service.• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key performance indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and success in our engagements. Lead internal issue and conflict resolution and work closely with BEM on external issue resolution.

Qualifications for the role

University degree in Automation, Electrical, or Informatics. Minimum of 8 years of experience in a relevant area. Open-minded with strong leadership skills. Motivated to grow assigned group services.
