Responsibilities
As the DCS, IPS and Analytical Engineering Group Leader in our Engineering Services Department, you will overseeing design, implementation, improvement and maintenance of control and analytical systems in the plant. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project integration and reliable operation. Your expertise in instrumentation and controls engineering principles, combined with your leadership, management skills and extensive experience, will be crucial in leading the team to drive teamwork, innovations and successful project execution. Additionally, you'll partner with the Corporate Automation Council’s (CAC) leadership team to set corporate policy and procedures regarding industrial control system application.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to the following) :
Minimum
B. S. degree in Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering principles and practices.
General understanding of interlock design requirements, process analyzer technology and DCS configuration principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose innovative and practical engineering solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Prior direct supervisory experience.
Proven experience in instrumentation and control engineering, design, implementation, and support in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ISO, ANSI, IEEE, NFPA 70, NEC, PIP and other applicable codes, in the design and evaluation of electrical, instrumentation and control systems and equipment.
