As a Grocery Commissary Team Leader, you are on your way to increased responsibility and future growth into leadership!  This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for food production and inventory management while supporting and developing a team. Be part of it! 

 

As part of the leadership team, you will make an impact by:

Opening and closing shift responsibilities Participate in and oversee daily food production; work various positions in the different production areas, communicating on a daily basis with each employee about daily objectives and overall performanceHelp complete daily Commissary operations and tasks for the dayAssists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise while maintaining proper storage and safe handling practices Participate in internal audits, and support external audits ensuring ongoing compliance with the corporate Food Safety Program and regulatory expectationsMaintaining merchandise - product rotation, proper food handling, receiving, ensure product qualityHelping to build and train the team! Develop leadership skills while aiding in supervising Commissary associates in the performance of their assigned duties

If this sounds like you, make sure you also meet these requirements:

Have 1-2 years of kitchen, restaurant, food service, grocery, or retail supervisory experience with progressively increasing responsibility Bilingual (English & Spanish) language skills requiredSchedule Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidaysCurrent Commissary Hours: Monday to Saturday 7AM - 4PM (schedule shifts/days subject to change based on business needs) Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder heightAbility to safely operate power equipment, such as slicing equipment where applicableThis job may require you to occasionally respond to alarm calls during non-working hours and have the flexibility to work shifts at other stores in your local geographic areaYou must be a minimum of 18 years old (required)High School Diploma / EquivalentSuccessfully pass our pre-employment checks, including a drug screen and criminal background checkBasic computer skills will be required
