**Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Hopkinton, NH who is looking to hire an additional Grinder II on 2nd shift! ***This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity*****
**Position** :
+ Grinder II
**Pay** :
+ $20.00 to $22.00.00 per hour plus a 10% shift differential
**Hours** :
+ 2nd Shift Work Schedule: 4 – 10-hour shifts
+ Overtime as necessary
+ Flexible scheduling in agreement with supervisor
**Job Summary:**
The Grinder II is an individual who can work within a fast-paced, Sheetmetal shop environment focusing on on-time delivery of parts. This person must have a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and ask questions about manufacturing processes. They will be proficient with all required equipment for the department. Attention to safety, quality and on time delivery is required. Moderate ability to read and understand blueprints is necessary for determining required finishes and tools to achieve them.
**Job Duties:**
+ Safely operate moving machines and equipment with little assistance
+ Function in a safe and reliable manner to prevent personal injury and/or property damage.
+ Ability grind, vibrate, back sand various materials.
+ Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ Manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Experience in prototyping preferred.
+ 2 years’ experience in grinding/finishing required.
+ Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
+ Ability to use hands and fingers to operate computers, equipment, hand/power tools, etc. and handle and feel parts of various size.
+ Ability to bend, kneel and crouch occasionally throughout the shift.
+ Ability to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. moderately throughout the workday.
+ Ability to focus vision for: close vision, color vision, depth perception and adjusting to sharp focus.
