Grill Cook, Full-Time (University of Charleston)

The University of Charleston is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook.
Primary Functions:
Responsible for customer service, food preparation, cooking to customer’s order and cleanliness of the dining location.Duties & Responsibilities:
Cooks menu items to customer’s order Preparation of other food items directed by General Manager or Chef Maintains proper grill cooking temperatures Ensures proper sanitations of grill area and surrounding kitchen Uses proper portioning Answers customer questions accurately on menu items Restocks and cleans up grill station at end of service period Other duties as required and assignedJob Requirements:
Requirements:
Able to read, write and perform basic math Able to follow verbal and written instructions Must be customer-oriented, organized and detail oriented Able to occasionally lift 30 pounds Must be able to move through the kitchen/grill area to retrieve/gather supplies and equipment Bending, standing, moving, carrying, writing, lifting, reaching High standard of personal hygiene
