An exciting position has arisen within the Design and Manufacturing Division, for a Graphic Designer in The FIX department. We are looking for a responsible, organised individual, who enjoys working in a fast paced and dynamic environment where the customer is the central focus of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for liaising directly with the respective Designers & Retail buyers on trending and brand relevant graphics for The FIX Provide Graphic Designs for both ladies & menswear and have a good understanding of all over/ repeat prints A strong grasp of trend direction, product, brand relevance and authenticity are essential, whilst performing this function timeously with in the TFG D&M Quick response timeline and critical path Provide effective test options in order to establish new product categories, and relevant iterations on existing product lines The Graphic Designer is also responsible to ensure all pre-production formats are user and production friendly for the outwork suppliers This individual is responsible for keeping abreast of weekly sales and continuous developments throughout the season ensuring The FIX remains relevant and in line with consumer demand This individual needs to ensure all graphics purchased meet the retail customer’s satisfaction with regards to quality and authenticity Although this Graphic designer will reside and report into The FIX D&M structure, he or she will be required to fulfill any business requirements within the job role of a graphic designer for any of the other brands that fall within TFG D&M structureQualifications and Experience:
A Tertiary Qualification in Graphic Design/Trend 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a clothing Graphic Designer, within the clothing manufacturer or fashion industry is non-negotiable A strong portfolio showcasing your design skillsSkills:
Excellent skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office Initiative and self-motivation important Ability to meet strict deadlines Ability to work well under pressure Ability to lead processes and communicate effectively Detail oriented Strong influencing Skills Excellent planning, organisational and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills Good judgement and problem-solving skillsBehaviours:
