Graphic Designer
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Graphic Designer in the jewelry industry, located in Culver City, California. As a Graphic Designer, you will be involved in various design tasks, including creating layouts for catalogs, producing designs, and handling print media related tasks. Responsibilities: • Utilize your expertise in Photoshop and InDesign to create and modify designs • Manage the production of catalogs, ensuring the layout and design are in line with the requirements • Handle the design and layout of pages, providing creative input and ideas • Work on social media-related design tasks, ensuring the visual elements are engaging and on-brand • Maintain the highest level of accuracy and attention to detail in all design work • Respond to any design-related inquiries, providing solutions and recommendations when needed • Monitor the progress of design projects, ensuring deadlines are met • Collaborate with the team to ensure all design elements align with the overall project goals • Adhere to the established design guidelines and standards. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field. • Minimum of two years' experience in graphic design, preferably within the wholesale distribution of durable goods industry. • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. • Excellent graphic design skills with a strong portfolio of work. • Proven experience in print media design, including brochures, catalogs, and packaging. • Ability to conceptualize and execute visually compelling design concepts for various marketing materials. • Strong understanding of branding, color theory, typography, and layout design. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and ideas. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales. • High level of creativity, innovation, and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. • Comfortable accepting and implementing feedback to improve design outcomes. • Knowledge of the latest design trends and technologies.
