Adolfson & Peterson Construction, one of the nation’s top contractors, is recruiting for an experienced Graphic Designer for our Mountain States Region based out of Aurora. The individual hired will use creativity and visual persuasion to support, elevate, and differentiate the AP brand. Able to collaborate with project teams to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message and create original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way. Work with the in-house marketing team to develop consistent, impactful design deliverables across a wide range of touchpoints, including proposals, communications, events, presentations, and more. Responsibilities: + Take personal responsibility for working safely within an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture. + Design graphics and layout for proposals, marketing and brand collateral, presentations, social media, website content and other marketing materials (i.e. direct mail, tradeshow, and collateral). + Coordinate and oversee production of collateral materials. + Coordinate and/or execute photography. + Prepare and package files for print, digital, social media, and web. + Retouch and edit images for various platforms. + Communicate with printers, photographers, video partners, website developers and other marketing resources for estimates, scheduling shoots, and coordinating edits and deliverables. + Assist with website updates in WordPress. + Assist with social media including writing post copy and preparing posts. + Assist with submissions for industry awards programs. + Organize and maintain digital assets. + Ensure quality control through brand guideline adherence, approval of proofs, drafts, press checks, and testing of technology and materials before deployment. + Other duties as assigned Requirements: + History of experience and proven results including: + 0-3 years of marketing experience required. Internship, agency, or industry experience is preferred + Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop & Illustrator) + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) + Knowledge of photography and video editing experience a plus + Design best practices, proofreading, and editing skills. + Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards. + Developed skills (written, oral, and listening) to effectively communicate with diverse audiences. + Desire to learn and develop professional talents, knowledge, and skills. + Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time constraints. + Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build successful and lasting relationships.
