Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join the Building Control Systems Wattstopper Team. This is a remote position reporting to CT. In this role you will be responsible for creating layouts and designs to follow brand standards and be presented in a variety of visual communication media.
What Will You Do?
Design visual content for a variety of print and digital collateral including but not limited to brochures, flyers, technical sell sheets, email images, website assets, and social graphics.Create motion graphics for internal & external videos, social and web.Create presentation materials for internal and external customers, including PowerPoint presentations.Follow brand guidelines and ensure all design outputs are aligned with the company's brand standards & contribute a fresh perspective and offer options for achieving given objectives within guidelines.Manipulate lifestyle and product photography to define presentation of material.Develop tradeshow booth graphic concepts and layout of products providing artwork to vendor as required. Promotional merchandising displays and materials for distributors and tradeshows. Create print ready files for large format graphics and promotional materials.Manage and maintain library of digital image assets and finished marketing materials ensuring materials are up to date on our DAM for internal and external customers.Support digital team with web page design concepts, lifestyle graphics, and product images. Assist in planning future website improvements.Involved in photoshoots for product launches and campaigns by helping to provide creative design ideas, b-roll on for videos, help direct photography and bring fresh ideas on content delivery.Assist with video development with set ideas & shot refinement as needed. Perform other similar and related duties as required.Other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequired Skills
Education:
BFA/BA in Graphic Design, Communication Arts or similar or equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years experience working in graphic design related field. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, organize and accomplish a diversified workload.Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.Qualifications:
Strong computer skills, proficient with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software, e-mail and meeting management software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively. Must have a strong understanding of web and digital media applications. Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, layout concepts & color theory.Proficient in After Effects, Microsoft Excel, and Word. General understanding of Premiere Pro, 3D rendering and CAD software. Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Must be able to execute graphics deliverables quickly and efficiently. Able to evaluate situations, identify options and implement effective reports, presentations and business correspondence.Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.Must possess excellent project management skills, including demonstrated ability to develop and manage to a project plan, establish priorities, work to deadlines and control a number of projects at various stages of work.
