We’re looking for an intern with energy and enthusiasm to join our team in New York City. You will work with our graphics and marketing team in a corporate, in-house setting, delivering visual communication pieces for our Engineering, Planning, and Technology groups. The ideal candidate will bring a passion and enthusiasm for designing functional visual communication pieces (layout, infographics, maps, covers, videos, motion graphics, presentations, websites, social media, etc.), have field and/or studio photography experience, be eager to learn, be a team player, and want to develop strong skills for working in a professional environment.

Get an inside look at delivering transportation projects through:
· Studio and field photography
· Videography and video production
· Document design and page layout
· Presentation design
· Project branding/identity
· Collateral design for community events
· Mapmaking
· Data visualizations

Our New York office is seeking a Multimedia/Graphic Design Intern. This position is on a temporary basis for the summer of 2025. Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.

What You’ll Do:

Performs a variety of tasks which may be specific to a particular functional area of activity such as preparing reports, tracking and evaluating results, coordinating program developments, answering the phone, receiving messages, transmitting information, making copies, editing documents, handling routine inquires and making appointments.Participates in meetings and interfaces with various teams.Assists management in analyzing various data.Works on special projects and provides research as needed.Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program

What We Prefer:

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Graphic Design or related field.Experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Strong interest in transportation, transit, and infrastructure.

The approximate pay range for New York is $18.65 - $34.97. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
