Job Title Grants Administrator, CCAMPIS Agency Tarleton State University Department Student Resources & Basic Needs Proposed Minimum Salary Commensurate Job Location Fort Worth, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Under the general direction of the Associate Dean of Students, the Grants Administrator will first and foremost ensure compliance with U.S. Department of Education CCAMPIS guidelines. Also, identify funding opportunities; oversee the proposal preparation process; assist with submitting proposals; review and process agreements (both financial and non- financial); inform faculty and college personnel of special contractual requirements; and provide assistance with case management as needed. This is an in office position located in Fort Worth, Texas. Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or as work requirements indicate. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : 60% Grant Management: Ensure compliance with all CCAMPIS federal guidelines and report submitting deadlines. Identify grant opportunities, prepare grant applications, secure grants of all types, and assist in the management of approved grants in specified functional and program areas. Interacts with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure that grant projects comply with program guidelines for expenditure, funding, and accountability. Investigates, researches, and analyzes legislation relating to federal, state, and local grant programs. Coordinates with Student Resources Basic Needs staff to ensure timely completion of grants and other department needs. Work is performed under the supervision and direction of an administrative supervisor. 15% Fiscal Management: Maintain and verify payment records, review invoices and record receipts. Develop and manage systems for tracking grant expenditures and receivables. Review and approve all grant-related payment requests, bills, invoices, and statements. In cooperation with the Student Resources and Basic Needs Director, reviews all monthly financial reports, makes corrections to grant-related income and revenue as needed, and communicates all changes to the director. 15% Assessment: Engage in comprehensive assessment, evaluation, and program improvement by regularly tracking, communicating, and reporting relevant data; integrate feedback into program operations; and develop and review key performance indicators to reduce students’ food, housing, and financial insecurity. Assists with student satisfaction surveys and other methods for data collection and assessment of Student Resources and Basic Needs services. 10% Additional Duties: Remain current and trained on standard and best practices, emerging strategies and interventions, and research at the local, state, federal, and international levels, supporting the reduction of threats to the campus community and connecting students of concern to the supports necessary to enable their retention and success. Identify and apply for funding opportunities that address homelessness/displacement, food insecurity, legal aid, financial literacy, childcare, and transportation Required Education & Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Two years of related experience in contract and grant administration in a University or state agency setting. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Proficiency in math, excellent computer skills (including Excel). + Ability to relate to other staff and foster teamwork. + Ability to organize multiple tasks. + Ability to establish goals and workload priorities and work cooperatively with others. + Effective oral and written communication skills. + Collaborative approach to the cultivation and maintenance of relationships among a variety of internal and external partners. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working with federal grants. + Experience administering CCAMPIS grants. + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Services, or related degree. + Three (3) year experience in duties and responsibilities specified, or related area with a bachelor’s degree. Compensation & Benefits Salary: Commensurate with experience Salary Range: The target base annual salary range is $44,000 to $61,940.50 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
