Grant Accountant
Job Title: Grant Accountant Job Description: + Maintain and reconcile various financial records and listings. + Set up and manage budgets in financial software for accurate tracking. + Ensure proper handling of revenue and invoicing according to standards. + Manage project-specific financial items and track expenses. + Review and communicate budget variances and forecasts. + Participate in financial review meetings to discuss project updates. + Track and ensure compliance with budget allocations and expenditures. + Prepare and submit necessary financial reports. + Handle invoicing and billing for projects. + Manage financial drawdowns and reimbursements. + Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with requirements. + Assist in developing and updating program budgets. + Maintain a database of contracts and manage related policies. + Perform other assigned duties. + Foster positive working relationships with staff and external partners. + Complete administrative tasks in a timely manner. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. + Experience with financial analysis and accounting. + Federal, state, or foundation grants management and compliance experience. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including co-workers. + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. + Ability to communicate effectively and strong interpersonal skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
