About the role:
Are you ready to work on critical technology that powers the UK’s submarines?
We are seeking talented Engineers to design and develop Platform Management Systems (PMS) for the UK’s fleet of nuclear-powered submarines.
In this role, you will design, integrate, and upgrade PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial networks, ensuring these systems meet the demanding requirements of operational reliability, security, and performance in mission-critical environments.
As well as configuring and maintaining existing systems, you’ll play a key role in designing the next generation of PMS, ensuring they are future-proof and meet evolving operational demands. You will work with cutting-edge industrial control technologies and communicate with key stakeholders ensuring the system remains secure and adaptable over the lifetime of the submarines.

Role responsibilities:
As a Graduate Systems Engineer, you’ll get to work on pioneering projects for national defence programmes. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will:
Assist with systems engineering activities including requirements management, verification testing and design assuranceProduce and review project technical documentation to project schedulePrepare for and deliver key design reviews (PDR/CDR) in accordance with the programme scheduleManage suppliers, ensuring requirements and design baselines are maintainedEnsure adequate integration with other engineering functions involved in the delivery of the programme, including Hardware, Mechanical, Software, ILS, IA, and Safety.We are looking for:
An Engineering degree in a suitable disciplineKnowledge of System Engineering models and techniquesKnowledge of requirements management toolsThe ability to problem-solve, manage workloads and develop solutions to a variety of problemsIf you don't meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
