What does a Sustainability Engineer in Buildings do?
Contribute to decarbonising projects of all shapes and size Help clients understand the climate change risk on their projects and helping to find ways to adapt Deliver an ongoing pipeline of some of the most sustainable projects in WA Conducts sustainability assessments for buildings, including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and energy modelling including Green Star, NABERS, WELL and other sustainability certifications Contributes to the preparation of technical reports and sustainability submissions for regulatory approvals. Researching sustainability initiatives to be included on projects Work with an energised and engaging team Work in a team who are continuously striving to improve themselves and the world around them Assist with Stakeholder Engagement skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present sustainability strategiesWhy Stantec?

About You
You will ideally have an engineering bachelors or masters degree qualification and have a deep interest in sustainability. If you have some knowledge in some or all of the areas below, please highlight it in your cover letter. Storytelling and systems thinking Energy and carbon modelling Data Analysis and Interpretation Knowledge of Sustainable Materials and Circular Economy Economics Sustainability rating tools, such as Green Star, or NABERS Simulation software Coding experience ESG You will be committed to improve the world we live in, seize the environmental challenges that we all face and come up with solutions that will benefit generations to come.
