What does a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in our Water team do?
On a day to day, you might be involved in:
Use general knowledge of mechanical engineering to support analysis and design of water and wastewater supply, distribution and treatment systems. Perform basic calculations to analyse and design water/wastewater system components using company standard software and/or proprietary manufacturer software. Assist team in preparing water/wastewater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions. Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices. Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer. Assist the team in providing support services during project design development that can include workshop scribing, deliverables submission and other. Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.Why Stantec?
