What does a Hydraulic Engineer in Buildings do? Develop designs for the construction, operation and maintenance of machines and mechanical systems for building and built environment projects Engaging with stakeholders such as authorities, clients (external and internal), suppliers and project team members Work with architects, structural engineers and other design professionals to shape the buildings of the future Applying first principles thinking to develop code compliant designs. Create drawings and schematics using REVIT, 3D modelling, BIM and other industry software Undertaking site-based investigations and construction phase site visits for a "start to finish" experience Working on a variety of projects concurrently
