What does a Hydraulic Engineer in Buildings do? Applying your knowledge of fluid flow to building hydraulic services - incoming (water) and outgoing (sanitary drainage, stormwater, rainwater) You will also be involved in scoping and designing specialist hydraulic services like high purity water, treatment of industrial wastewater across a variety of facility types Engaging with stakeholders such as authorities, clients (external and internal), suppliers and project team members Applying first principles thinking to develop code compliant designs. Aiding with the documentation of designs using Autodesk packages such as Revit Undertaking site-based investigations and construction phase site visits for a "start to finish" experience Working on a variety of projects concurrently Why Stantec
