What does an Electrical Engineer in Buildings do?

Design electrical infrastructure and services for infrastructure and buildings type projects. Prepare electrical engineering documentation including drawings, engineering reports, feasibility studies, and specifications to support designs. Model electrical infrastructure and services in the latest 3D modelling software, REVIT. Develop and prepare layout plans, single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, calculations, budget estimates and reports. Attend site investigations for new projects, investigate existing electrical infrastructure and services, and observe active projects being constructed.
