What does a Civil Engineer do?
Work on a mix of projects including defence, health, residential, advisory and industrial. Working alongside a team of engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality engineering and technical activities to achieve successful projects Participate in meetings with clients and other consultants, and contractors to facilitate effective project coordination. Complete design calculations and records within time and budget restraints Gain experience in site inspections and construction contracts Utilise industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, 12d and Civil 3D to create and modify engineering plans in a digital format Contribute to the preparation of reports and other essential engineering documentation. Conduct site visits to observe and monitor construction activities, providing valuable insights for ongoing design projects.Why Stantec?
