As a Graduate BIM Modeler at Arup, you will:
Create 3D models and 2D drawing documentation of buildings and civil structures Gatekeeper of all in-coming and out-going model and drawing information Work across disciplines to ensure an overall design fits together and satisfies each discipline’s individual requirements Troubleshoot all problems that arise in a rapidly changing digital coordination environment Develop engineer’s concepts and sketches into accurate models and drawings, through direct communications Help with submissions and ensure proper QA/QC protocols are implemented
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for graduates who are currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or BIM & Information Management (NFQ Level 7/8 or equivalent).
We also value:
Ability to use Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and CADS RC Knowledge of Civil 3D and Navisworks would be an advantage Programming skills using Python, Dynamo or Rhino - Inside - Revit would be an advantage Knowledge of information management to BS/PAS1192 and ISO19650-1/2 would be an advantage Candidate must be detail and accuracy oriented Good command in both written and spoken English
