Job Description

Our Ottawa office is looking for a talented Associate Digital Engineer to join a team developing industry-leading mix-signal Digital PLL Application Specific Integrated Circuits in a flexible work environment. You will be a part of a growing mixed design and verification team giving you a chance to make a significant impact. You will not not only be contributing to the actual testcase writing, but you will also be part of the verification planning the the continuous improvement of our verification environment using the latest methodologies.

Qualifications
Define and implement self checking test cases based on functional requirementsContribute to our ever evolving verification infrastructure componentsRTL and Gate level debug of leading edge mixed-signal ASICsKnowledge of SystemVerilog or digital verificationKnowledge of OO conceptsExperience with Synopsys and/or Cadence simulation toolsFast learner with the ability to work under minimal supervisionEffective team player with good communication skillsAbility to work in a Unix/Linux operation system environment
Additional Information

Electrical/Computer/Software Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical degree

1+ years of practical experience

A Master's degree may substitute for some years of related experience

Understanding functional specifications to create and execute detailed verification plansKnowledge of scripting languages such as Python and TCLExperience with automation methods and tools (regressions, EDA tools)Experience with UVM and System Verilog assertions, functional coverage, and code coverageKnowledge of Digital and Analog PLLsExperience with embedded C programming
