The University of Dubuque is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the American Rivers Conference. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Analyze performance and instruct athletes in techniques and strategies in preparation for and during athletic competitions + Assist the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, and equipment + Assist program with all phases of competitive NCAA and ARC compliant recruiting + Assist with monitoring academic progress of all student-athletes on the team, in connection with the coaching staff, compliance coordinator and athletic director + Execute practice and game planning/evaluation, including video coordination and breakdown + Manage equipment usage + Perform other duties as assigned in support of the University's _Mission_ **Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree is required, and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program + Valid driver's license + Flexibility with schedule (ex. evening or weekend commitments) + High level of organization and attention to detail + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Coaching experience or playing experience (goal keeping experience preferred) + Effective communication skills; both orally and written All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week. Also, this position can receive campus housing and a meal plan or hourly compensation for duties/hours in addition to the required twenty (20) hours per week.
