As a Graduate Asset and Facility Management Consultant at Arup, you will:
Have regular client interaction beginning with understanding their scope, development of the project and then full implementation. This may include representing Arup and/or the client at project meetings. Work in a team environment and be involved in project planning, visualisation, facilities maintenance, and process improvement projects for our clients. Support to senior team members at project meetings. Assist in generating site asset registers and develop these into full asset planners. Assist in coordinating maintenance activities and upgrades of client facilities. Assist in developing service level agreements for hard and soft services. Develop ideas and concepts about our own working processes to create efficiencies. Develop service level agreements for outsourcing of non-core services. Support tender documents generation and complete the technical evaluations. Undertake site engineering audits and assessments. Accompany senior personnel on site engineering audits and assessments. Produce detailed reports including recommendations and conclusions. Contribute to generating Capex and Opex cost reports for client review and assessment. Provide support in the creation of client business plans and strategies which allow our clients to receive best value long term solutions. Visualise dashboard plans that enable increased control and understanding for the client, through digital technologies. Performance monitoring / Ops Monitoring - review of FM company monthly reports / invoicing.

We're looking for graduates who are currently pursuing a recognised Bachelors (Hons) Degree in the following:
Facilities Management - Level 5-8 accredited IWFM / ILM Facility Engineering – Level 8 accredited by Engineers Ireland Building Services Engineering – Certificate / Degree Certificate in Reliability Engineering Certificate / Diploma in Asset Management accredited by the Institute of Asset Management Certificate in Facility Management / Certified Facility Manager accredited by IWFM / IFMA Property & Facilities Management – Level 7-8, accredited. Membership including student membership of relevant professional body such as IWFM, IFMA, Engineers Ireland, CIBSE, CIOB, or equivalent.We also value Graduates who have:
Introduction to facilities management. Understanding facilities management within the context of an organisation. An awareness or understanding of facilities management strategy, policies, and operational plans. An awareness or understanding of risk management in facilities management. An awareness or understanding of property, fabric and building services maintenance for facilities managers, oversee works and maintenance facilities, building maintenance in facilities management. Assist in managing health and safety in own areas of facilities management, health and safety responsibilities in facilities management. An appreciation or understanding of financial management in facilities management / facilities management operations. An appreciation or understanding of procurement and contract management in facilities management, specification and procurement of facilities supplies and services. An awareness or understanding of energy and utilities management and the impact on facilities management.
