Job OverviewThe Finance team within the Aerospace, Defense, & Marine (AD&M) Business Unit at TE is seeking a Government Accounting & Pricing Analyst to ensure compliance with government regulations and maximize profitability for TE Connectivity through accurate pricing of government contracts. This position involves extensive analysis of cost structures, market conditions, and contractual requirements to develop competitive pricing strategies for government bids and proposals.
Please note: This position may involve working with technical data, technology, software/source code, hardware, or other items (collectively “items) subject to U.S. and non-U.S. export control laws and regulations. Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development Analyze government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs) to understand pricing requirements and guidelines. Develop competitive, compliant pricing strategies for government contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market conditions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Contracts, Legal, Product/Program Management, and Finance, to gather necessary data for pricing proposals. Cost Analysis and Estimation Conduct detailed cost analysis, including direct and indirect costs, to produce accurate pricing models. Evaluate and validate cost inputs from various departments to ensure consistency and accuracy. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, cost drivers, market trends, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Compliance and Documentation Ensure pricing proposals comply with government regulations, such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation), DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement), and Cost Accounting Standards. Prepare and maintain comprehensive pricing documentation and support files for audit and review purposes. Assist in developing and maintaining pricing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and CAS requirements. Proposal Support Support the proposal development process by providing accurate and timely pricing inputs. Participate in pricing reviews and contribute to the preparation of pricing narratives and justifications. Assist in negotiations with government representatives to secure favorable contract terms and pricing. Reporting and Analysis Generate regular pricing and profitability reports for management review. Conduct post-award cost and pricing analysis to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities. What your background should look like:Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or another related field.
• MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Skills & Experience:
• Experience in Manufacturing, Aerospace/Defense industry, or similar field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years in pricing analysis or financial analysis within a government contracting environment.
• Strong understanding of government contracting regulations, including FAR, DFARS, CAS, and Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPoD).
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools, such as Excel and pricing software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems and government pricing tools is a plus.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $81,700 - 122,500 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
