They enable efficient data flow and optimise technology infrastructure for enhanced business performance.Those in cloud and network architecture at PwC will focus on designing and implementing efficient and secure solutions for clients. You will be leveraging cutting-edge technologies to optimise infrastructure and enhance connectivity.
Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As the Google Alliance Sales Director, you will demonstrate thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts including:
Exhibit extensive knowledge of professional services selling and the ability to build and sustain long term relations with our Google Cloud Alliance contacts as well as PwC's iconic and priority clients to drive revenue;
Showcase success in an individual contributor sales role for a professional services and or technology solution organization;
Understand the structure, key issues, language, and environment of one or more industry/sector groups with an ability to discuss and explain current and emerging issues within one or more industry sectors, including services and technology applicable to those needs and effectively engage with executive level clients and with technology-focused PwC resources;
Utilize extensive experience and demonstrating effectiveness and success across sales competencies;
Demonstrate complex Alliance management and team selling;
Initiate sales calls and contacts; build pipeline and pursue prospects to secure meetings; win referrals and explore new sales opportunities;
Solicit information from Alliances and clients to effectively qualify and scope opportunities;
Play an active role in discussing and developing solutions with the Alliance.
Understand client business issues and match them to service capabilities/revenue opportunities;
Lead and coach complex sales processes through effective targeting of buyers and influencers;
Overcome objections and obstacles to win the business, develop and execute a targeted relationship and account development strategy;
Utilize sales cycle methodology, account, and relationship development methodology;
Demonstrate relationship effectiveness, including the ability to establish and develop long-term Alliance, PwC Account Team, and client relationships;
Effectively represent both Alliance and client needs to establish appropriate solutions are brought to the client;
Build trust with the Alliance;
Successfully navigate a complex internal organization consisting of dozens of distinct capabilities and practices;
Thrive in an unstructured and evolving team and organizational environment;
Demonstrate personal effectiveness, including a proven ability to accomplish and exceed goals within challenging, complex organizations;
Project executive presence and professionalism sufficient to interact with C-level executives and senior partners;
Remain tenacious and undeterred by criticism and setbacks;
Meet significant targets and goals with minimal oversight and direction
Ability to act as part of a delivery team in a post-sales capacity, being part of the escalation matrix and ensuring client success throughout the engagement
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Advanced degree (Master's or higher) preferred. Candidates with degrees in business or technical fields will be given preference
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.
Good personal relationships within the Google Cloud Alliance organization
Hands-on experience in a series of progressive sales / marketing roles, within a professional services firm or large corporation
Previous experience in Alliance Sales.
Demonstrated understanding of Sales & Relationship Experience working in a dynamic, sophisticated environment where change is the norm.
High degree of tact, diplomacy, confidence, resilience and patience
Professionalism and poise (“executive presence”)
Executive-level communication skills (CEO/CTO/CIO, VP, etc.) T
The ability to communicate effectively, consult with others, develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally, facilitate group discussions, make presentations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent judgment and strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyse and understand the impact of relevant options
High energy and the flexibility to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines
Exceptional self-starter, both team oriented and able to work autonomously
The successful candidate is expected to spend the majority of their time either at the PwC office or client's site
This role may require occasional travel within Canada and/or the US
