Examples of Work (Any one position may not include all of the duties listed, nor do the examples cover all of the duties that may be performed.) Manages the daily operations of a municipal golf course and clubhouse; Collects greens fees, riding cart rentals, and other fees; maintains daily cash accounts and makes daily bank deposits; oversees the operation of a cash register; Plans, coordinates, and supervises various golf leagues and tournaments; computes and records handicaps for players; interpret rules for players; Interprets rules of the golf course forplayers, such as penalty to be taken on out-of-bounds shots, order of play, and methods to be used for reporting scores; Accepts reservations for starting times; Assists with and conducts golf clinics; Makes recommendation for necessary repairs to the clubhouse; Supervises Golf Assistant Professionals and other non-maintenance personnel assigned to the golf courses; schedules assignments; monitors and evaluates the work performance of subordinate personnel in writing; Maintains a variety of records and prepares reports, memos, and letters. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a valid Class A Professional Golfers Association Membership Card (PGA); or possession of a valid Class A Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Membership Card. Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
