Develop and implement communication strategy to connect GM to China’s consumers and future growth opportunities.Show proof points in cadenced storytelling opportunities to amplify positive impression of GM’s business operations in China.Create and expand social and digital exposure to target audience.Go digital in social media communication.Keep alert on potential crisis and get prepared for risks.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)​​ 

Business acumen and understanding of GM’s core values.Deep understanding of the automotive industry and overall business environment/policies in China for broader storytelling opportunities.Insights in policy/regulatory area to support crisis/risk management in communication.Strong interpersonal skills to build trust with external audience and internal stakeholders across the functions, regions and culturesAbility to influence without authorityAbility to manage/coach performance of direct reportsInnovative and willing to enable new ideas and changesAbility to learn on the fly continuouslyFluent English speaking/writing skillsCorporate Communication, Executive Communication, Social Impact, Internal Communication, Social and Digital Communication, Strategy, Public Policy.Degree of Communication, Journalism, Automotive or other related areas
