The Global Creative Studio team within Global Marketing supports the creative strategy and execution across Franklin Templeton’s global business functions to reach clients around the world.

The Global Video and Digital Events Director role requires a deep understanding and expertise in audio and video production. The individual should continuously look to enhance the look/feel of the multimedia content produced; stay up to date on new capabilities; implement brand standards; manage our recording capacity/calendar while meeting stakeholders’ needs; and be able to educate stakeholders about best practices and analytics.

This is a permanent position and is the Leadership position in the Global Video and Digital Events production function within Global Creative Studio.The Director will report to the Global Creative Studio Director and oversees a global team of 8 who are based in New York, Boston, Poznan, and Mexico City. This role requires a team player who can collaborate with multiple partners in a global team.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Global Video and Digital Events Director?

The Global Video and Digital Events Director is an expert in broadcast quality equipment and streaming media. They will establish a new fully functioning studio in New York and manage its maintenance.

As well as managing direct reports, this person will be expected to manage and lead the Video and Digital Events across the Globe employing third parties where needed or leveraging the Global reach of the Franklin Templeton Creative Studio

Coordinate with the global team to achieve organizational objectives and represent the Creative Studio across regions with business partners & leaders.

Develops and produces video, podcasts and webinars,

Uses industry standard software and related technologies e.g. Adobe Creative Suite.

Explores common design problems and seeks creative solutions.

Help communicate and coordinate recording plans, for all Global locations and hiring third parties where appropriate.

Managing the Video team to:

Capture video and audio in broadcast quality.

Edit video and audio with enhanced graphic and video support visuals.

Transfer edited video to those who need access.

Archive final version of video.

Manage & Oversee the Global Digital Events Manager who manages:

Communication and coordination of webinars or in-person event production plans.

Coordinates promotion of webinars, working with marketing partners including, but not limited to Email, Marketo, regional marketing teams, and the Social Media team.

Coordinates the proper approval process for webinar events and replays based on the type of event.

Coordinates graphic themes per event within brand standards.

Runs webinar event.

Provides post-event analysis, including analytics and learnings.

Oversee the roll out of new capabilities such as the AI generated Video Avatars and the Global network of “mini” broadcast studios centralized around the main studio in New York

Regularly present to large groups that include senior company leaders, communicating about current/upcoming projects, deadlines, reviews etc.

Help facilitate ideation sessions with key stakeholders to help transform and simplify digital client experience improvements.

Organize and present key data points to help champion improved personalization and customization, utilizing the latest technologies

Inspire and nurture creativity within the team

What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone be successful?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5-years of related experience

Experience in Financial Services an advantage but not a pre-requisite

Proficient in video creation and editing with tools such as Adobe Premier, Photoshop and After Effects, (Adobe Creative Cloud)      

Solid understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

Comfortable working directly with clients/partners to explore briefs and execute shoots.

Strong skill set in Adobe Premiere and Microsoft PowerPoint, good understanding of video equipment and studio environment

There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $136,800—$150,800.
