The Brazil Asset, Liability and Capital Management (ALCM) team, within the Brazil CFO, oversees the financial resources invested within HSBC Brasil SA, a subsidiary of HSBC PLC group. This includes the measurement and reporting of: liquidity, funding, leverage and Risk Weighted Assets / Capital. The team’s primary objective is to ensure that these finite Financial Resources are deployed efficiently and effectively, optimizing and maximizing the Entity (HSBC Brazil) returns to the shareholders, following the highest governance standards implemented by the HSBC Group.

Key activities:

Supervise the Asset/ Liability Management framework including liquidity risk, balance sheet interest rate risk, funding risk and capital management.Coordinate all communication strategy with regional teams of Treasury , ALCM on liquidity, funding, interest rate risk and capital management, including monthly reports.Supervision of Liquidity Management through internal and regulatory framework including ratios, liquidity costs allocation, contingency planning, cash flows projections.Supervise the periodic review of behaviouralisation, transfer pricing and the periodic review of Net Interest Income Sensitivity and propose changes when required.Supervise the correct management of capital and Risk Weighted Assets under the local regulatory framework .Review capital ratios sensitivity to interest rates, fx rates, country spreads;
