We’re looking for a Global Supply Manager - Mechanical/Electromechanical to join the Global Supply Management team at Snap Inc! What you’ll do: + Support Snap Lab’s product lines for Mechanicals like plastic, metal, silicon rubber components and sub-assembly parts and electro mechanicals like battery and speakers. + Own the commercial relationships with your partners as well as influence commodity strategy and direction with internal stakeholders like product and industrial design. + Responsible for commodity strategy, supplier selection, cost negotiations, continuity of supply, risk mitigation, as well as supporting overall project needs and timelines. + Work closely with operations, supplier quality, as well as Snap’s product and industrial design teams. + Build out a supply chain for these commodity verticals that can support Snap’s next phase of growth. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: + Ability to stay updated with industry trends and implement cutting edge technologies. + Understanding of the key processes in the manufacturing of batteries, speakers and other mechanical components. + Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills + Ability to work and influence across teams and manage timelines + Being able to balance strategic and tactical responsibilities + Passion for Problem solving and driving resolution + Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and at times ambiguous environments + Good communication skills and ability to work in multilingual as well as multicultural environments with partners in Asia Key Qualifications: + Previous experience in the following areas is preferred; Plastic Injection molding, Metal stamping and CNC, and batteries + Ability to travel 25% internationally Minimum Qualifications: + Has worked in consumer electronics with a focus on new technologies and high volume manufacturing. + 7+ years of experience in supply chain development, sourcing management, or manufacturing operations Preferred Qualifications: + Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain + Experience working with US/European companies + Candidates who have worked in the XR industry are preferred If you have a disability or special need that requires accommodation, please don’t be shy and provide us some information (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScV7t31iR3yYR9ztGDHJpbvL63svWpb6s0afkBkLEjGnDx4Kg/viewform) .
