Global Supply Chain Intern - Summer 2025

Job Description:

Summary:

The Global Supply Chain Intern will gain exposure and experience in:

The planning and scheduling of component material to ensure on time availability to meet production and service schedules, while optimizing inventory levels. The supervision of a medium to large group of employees involved in supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate material and production mix requirements to meet production schedules.Expedite the movement of raw material, in-process and/or finished goods.Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards.Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to meet production schedules.Maintain accurate inventory records.Train, develop, and evaluate employees.Have frequent contact with others outside the work group.Meet budgeted cost targets.Execute quality requirements.Learn to supervise a medium to large group of UAW employees; comply with terms of local and national agreements.Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirement:

College undergraduate or graduate status with 1-3 years at an accredited college or university, pursuing an academic field of study related to Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Management.

Required Experience:

Strong oral and written communication skills are required.

Good interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Analytical ability to solve complex problems.

Due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Intern must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident.
