Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently seeking a Global Supply Chain Coordinator to join our PowerDrive System business unit team. 

The Global Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our global supply chain team through the maintenance of various GSM systems, analysis of complex supplier and commodity data, communicating and ensuring standardization across various global reporting units. The candidate will utilize their skills to monitor and support our internal BorgWarner Supplier Price Adjustment System, Supplier Scorecards, Supplier Change Request System, Promenta, Ivalua, EASL, Supplier Profiles and corresponding reporting.

Key responsibilities

Maintains supplier profile data within various systems and ensures required documentation is currentLead business unit contact for long term MDM projectWorks collaboratively with global supply chain and finance team members to collect and review data for accuracy and consistencyEnsures compliance with supply chain and financial reporting policies and proceduresProvides global system support, identifies root cause of issues, and implements solutions that maintain a holistic and long-term perspective in mindCompletes user testing for global supply chain system upgradesAccountable for the integration of new systems and processes, including data migrationOn-boards and offers continual training to new internal team membersResponsible for external communications with the supply baseIntegrates data from multiple data sources into relevant reportsProvides support for supplementary ad hoc supply chain reporting, as well as other global supply chain systems and large-scale project initiatives

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in a business-related program0-2 years’ experience required; however, preference will be given to those with 3-5 years’ experience.SAP experience requiredExpert level skills within Microsoft Excel required (VLookup, if statements, pivot tables, ability to data mine and compare large data sets and research issues)Applicant must have excellent quantitative skills and extremely detail oriented with an interest in mining large data sets for accuracy and consistencyExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to produce under pressure and manage multiple competing deliverablesAbility to take initiative to develop and implement new projects and process to improve forecast accuracy and supporting data trendsSelf-driven individual, ability to work independently as well as with global team members at all levels of the organizationStrong written and verbal communication skillsSchedule flexibility to support global team members within other regions as needed (Americas, Europe & Asia)Occasional travel may be required (approximately 10%)
