What you will enjoy doing As a Global Strategic Procurement Manager, you report directly to the Head of Global Procurement PET and assist in developing and implementing a global procurement strategy for ALPLA Your responsibilities include controlling and optimizing the supply chain management, such as purchasing conditions, procurement processes, and logistics efficiency You are also responsible for building and maintaining supplier relationships and providing support to international locations Additionally, you observe and analyze international procurement markets and explore alternative sources of supply Ensuring smooth material supply, monitoring contract quantities, and determining requirements in collaboration with various locations are also part of your duties Lastly, you lead central price and contract negotiations What makes you great Completed degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in international strategic procurement and dealing with global suppliers Excellent knowledge in contract negotiations, procurement strategies and processes, as well as in creating procurement analyses and concepts Strong teamwork, self-reliance, flexibility, dedication, and effective communication skills at all levels within the organization Based in Europe or the UK, with a hybrid working model combining office-based and remote work. Approximately 25% global travel is required.
