Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Sales and Service Finance Manager to join our dynamic Business Line Instrumentation team. This role is pivotal in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making for our global sales and service operations (revenues of $0.5 billion annually). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead a global finance team while working collaboratively across diverse teams and regions.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage global sales and service financial planning and forecasting, analyze and report on financial performance, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.- Collaborate with sales, service, and product management teams to align financial goals with business objectives, assess the financial impact of marketing and sales initiatives, and support the development of pricing strategies.- Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial reporting, identify and mitigate financial risks, and ensure compliance with international financial regulations and corporate policies.- Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency, with a special focus on demand analysis, go-to-market strategies, return on investment, sales efficiency, and profitability.- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence while providing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.Challenges for the Position:Managing financial strategy in a dynamic, global environment with complex business needs and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications for the role

To be successful in this role, you bring over 12 years of demonstrated expertise in finance, controlling, and/or accounting, ideally within a B2B or industrial environment. Your background includes a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.You have global experience, having worked in hub, regional, or global Product Group (PG) roles, which has honed your ability to manage complex financial operations across diverse teams and markets.Your strong financial acumen, paired with advanced analytical skills, enables you to evaluate financial performance effectively. You are proficient in complex financial modeling and forecasting, ensuring the delivery of sound financial strategies. Your ability to navigate and adapt to volatile markets allows you to make well-informed decisions that align with both global objectives and local market conditions.You bring experience with ERP systems such as SAP and financial software, along with a thorough understanding of international financial regulations and compliance.
