Your role and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a seasoned professional with a robust commercial background and extensive experience in industrial products to join our team. This senior role focuses on driving strategy, enhancing profitability, and increasing market share. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to lead market analysis, define product line strategies, manage portfolios, and ensure strong performance management. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tMarket Analysis and Knowledge: Conduct market research, monitor trends, analyze competitors, and gather customer insights to inform and adapt marketing strategies.•\tStrategy: Define and implement product line strategy, drive innovation and localization, evaluate M&A opportunities, and ensure execution of strategic projects.•\tProduct and Portfolio Management: Develop and proactively manage the product line to achieve and secure market leadership, lead business analysis and use data-driven insights to anticipate opportunities and challenges, prioritize product development roadmap and secure needed resources in regional hubs and R&D to execute agreed actions.•\tPerformance Management and People Leadership: Take responsibility for product line P&L and market share gains, collaborate with regional hubs, manage product line performance, prepare performance reports. Ensure proper organization, resources and skills are in place to meet product line ambition.
Qualifications for the role\t10-15 years of experience in a Sales/Commercial role within a global matrix organization.\tProven experience with industrial product sales, electric motors experience is an advantage.\tUniversity degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar.\tAbility to influence and leading without direct authority.\tStrong drive and commitment/ passion to shape and develop the business \tGood interpersonal skills to foster trust and develop long-lasting partnerships with key clients and internal stakeholders \tExceptional verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey ideas, negotiate, and resolve conflicts effectively.\tProblem-solving ability, resourceful in identifying challenges and proposing tailored solutions to meet client expectations.\tCustomer-centric approach, deep understanding of clients’ businesses and ability to prioritize their needs to deliver maximum value.\tSkilled in negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.\tProficient in analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.\tFluent English language skills.
