Based in our Shakopee, MN location, you will lead Measurement Solutions' global product and operational environmental compliance efforts to drive outstanding strategies to align with established and evolving environmental regulations impacting global manufacturing sites including global chemical and substance regulations, directives impacting products throughout their lifecycle, and site sustainability initiatives.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Leading strategy and program development with global operations and engineering teams to mitigate risk and supporting business objectives while driving product environmental compliance (PEC) programs (e.g. RoHS, REACH, POPs, WEEE, Packaging, etc.). Developing and maintaining knowledge of existing and evolving PEC regulations and directives, while leading the Global PEC Steering team and communicating with senior leadership. Guiding the development of PEC programs, tools, systems, and processes, and providing training and assistance for their global implementation and adoption. Driving sustainability strategy, program development, and deployment across global operations (20+ sites), including partnering with site-level Sustainability Leads and Green Teams. Supporting continuous improvement in operational environmental compliance performance while providing direction on anticipated future environmental regulatory requirements. Collaborating with global site Environmental, Health, and Safety leaders to assess environmental regulation impacts for significant operational changes (i.e. relocations, site closures, expansions, remodels, or acquisitions). Developing, tracking, and communicating reporting metrics and key performance indicators on product environmental compliance, sustainability, and operational environmental compliance Who You Are:You formulate a clear strategy and map aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward its goals. Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $134,600-$159,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
