Global Post Import Audit Program Manager
Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in international import and export trade compliance operations. Preferred qualifications: + Experience with import classification, customs valuation, country of origin, Incoterms, ADD/CVD, import permits/licenses, import record management, and oversight of customs brokers to ensure accuracy of import declarations. + Experience driving corrective actions in import operations with demonstrated capability to strengthen trade compliance controls. + Experience in trade compliance data analytics and trend analysis in the area of trade compliance operations. + Knowledge of US, Canada and LATAM customs compliance and import operations, including experience working with regional and global trade compliance teams and customs brokers in an audit function. + Excellent communication skills, results oriented, flexible and team player. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations. In this role, you will be responsible for serving as a trade compliance subject matter expert for customs compliance and performing and managing post entry audits of Google’s import operations across multiple countries in the Americas region. You will leverage your focus on details and investigative skills to assess, identify, and communicate areas of potential risks and opportunities for improvement with internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will track trends in customs compliance and broker performance from post import audit results and engage in continuous improvements through robust communications and collaboration. You will partner with key business stakeholders and Trade Compliance Legal team to ensure that Google Cloud’s trade compliance operations are meeting all corporate and regulatory compliance requirements. You will also work with both internal and external partners to define and measure operational compliance processes, constantly using data to improve and strengthen our trade compliance controls. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Serve as the Americas post entry audit program manager for all countries in your region and a key partner for other regions. + Manage post import audits of Google Cloud’s import operations with data from customs brokers, customs authorities, and internal dashboards to ensure that trade compliance requirements in the area of classification, valuation, country of origin, participating government agency requirements, and other import requirements are met. + Track broker and international operational performance with data gleaned from such import audit result to assess trends and timely communicate them to all applicable stakeholders and executive leadership to drive continuous improvements. + Support other trade compliance initiatives and efforts to strengthen our compliance controls and operational efficiency.
